Pura Vida Ride is located 50 meters from the water's edge at Playa Danta and offers a range of single and double kayak rentals. Our bay was built for kayaking in Costa Rica: it is sheltered from the wind, has near-shore islands within an easy paddle, and generally has small and manageable surf. These guided kayak tours are a perfect way to introduce children and families to the amazing natural beauty that surrounds us in a safe, but adventurous manner. Our kayaking tours are guided by experts who know their equipment intimately and more importantly, understand the ocean and the bay.

Costa Rica Kayak and Snorkel Tours
Two Hour Guided Kayak and Snorkel Tour Explore the hidden treasures of Playa Danta and Dantita Bay with us on our kayaks! We'll give you a safety orientation on the beach as well as some pointers to make your kayaking experience more enjoyable, and then we'll launch from the beach in front of Pura Vida Ride and spend the next 2 hours exploring the coastline, reef systems, and wildlife that frequents our coastline. We'll either anchor offshore, or beach at Playa Dantita, and snorkel around. The types of wildlife we often encounter include lobster, puffer fish, parrot fish, sting rays, and sometimes even turtles!
