Born from a college graduation trip to Costa Rica, Pura Vida Bracelets was founded by Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman. They were inspired by the stunning landscapes, and laid-back lifestyle of Costa Rica, they discovered the beautiful, handcrafted bracelets of two local artisans.
Moved by the story and craftsmanship of the artisans, they brought 400 bracelets back to the U.S.—and quickly sold out. They realized these weren't just bracelets—they were a symbol of a simpler, more joyful way of life: Pura Vida—meaning "pure life" in Spanish.
Today, Pura Vida Bracelets is a global movement, offering handcrafted bracelets in endless color combinations. They've donated over $5 million to more than 300 charities, continuing to spread positivity and give back to causes that matter.
